The true cost of a service is not just any fee you may pay, but also the cost of time spent, mistakes made and opportunity lost. At SAHomeBuyers we seek to ensure there are no mistakes and no opportunities lost.

We provide you with:

  • A thorough consultation process – by understanding your needs and us supplying you with appropriate information and examples, we gain an in-depth knowledge of your exact requirements in terms of the property, area and amenities that you require.
  • Property search – We leave no stone unturned as we search both listed and private property offered for sale.
  • Legal representation – We guide you through, in conjunction with our legal team, the completion of the offer to purchase and needed suspensive clauses as well as a title deed check.
  • Best price – A combination of market tools that give us historic sales prices and rebuild costs coupled with our local area knowledge and specific information about the property, allow us to negotiate the best price (the lowest price) on your behalf.
  • Continuing expert advice – We are with you throughout the entire process, pro actively communicating with all parties to ensure no problems and a smooth handover.
  • Help with immigration – Free advice on exchange control and immigration issues for our foreign buyers
  • Financing – Help sourcing finance where required

The costs

Upon instruction you pay a retainer of R8000 to us. This R8000 is held as a deposit on our services and is fully refundable to you as long as you secure your house purchase via SAHomeBuyers.

But hang on that means the service is free of charge!

Of course you may wonder where we earn our revenue from and how can we afford to do this.

Estate agents in South Africa charge sellers a fee of up to 7.5% for a property sale, much of this goes on marketing costs. In the event the buyer is introduced by SAHomeBuyers estate agents are generally happy to pay a percentage of this fee to us – meaning you the client do not have to. Exceptions to this are very few since our inception and would typically only be where we have  privately sourced properties and where you do not purchase via us.
